Terms of Service

UAV Data is operated by UAV Data LLC ("UAV Data LLC", "we", "us"), an Arizona limited liability company. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between UAV Data LLC and the person or company that registers an account ("you"). By creating an account, accepting these Terms during signup, or using UAV Data, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

1. The service

UAV Data is a cloud platform for uploading, storing, organizing, and sharing drone imagery, video, and related flight data, organized around your accounts, clients, projects, and missions.

2. Eligibility and account registration

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate registration and billing information and to keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account, including activity by users you invite. Account roles and permissions you assign to invited users are your responsibility to manage.

3. Geographic availability

UAV Data is currently offered to customers in the United States only. We do not offer the service to persons or organizations located in the European Union or the United Kingdom at this time.

4. Subscriptions and payment

UAV Data is a paid service. An active paid subscription is required before you can upload content. There is no free trial. When you sign up, you select a subscription tier and pay the first monthly fee immediately.

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance at the prices published on our pricing page at the time of purchase, plus any applicable taxes. Optional add-ons, such as additional storage blocks, are billed alongside your subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor; your card details are collected and stored by Stripe and do not touch our servers.

5. Renewal

Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice; price changes take effect at your next renewal after the notice period.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid for; you keep access until then. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

7. Failed payments and lapsed subscriptions

If a renewal payment fails, we will retry the charge and notify you. While payment is outstanding, we may suspend your ability to upload new content. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, previously uploaded content is handled as described in our Data Retention Policy.

8. Your content

You retain all ownership rights in the imagery, video, flight data, and other files you upload ("Customer Content"). You grant UAV Data LLC a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely as needed to provide the service to you and to those you share it with.

You are responsible for your Customer Content: for having the rights and permissions needed to upload and share it, and for ensuring that its capture complied with applicable law, including aviation and drone regulations and laws relating to imagery of people and private property.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use UAV Data to store or share content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful, to violate the privacy or safety of others, or to interfere with the operation or security of the service. Full details are in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate it.

10. Sharing

UAV Data lets you share clients, projects, missions, and files with users inside and outside your account. You control what you share and with whom, and you are responsible for the access you grant. Recipients of shared content are bound by these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.

11. Storage limits

Each subscription tier includes a storage allowance, and additional storage may be available for purchase. If your account reaches its storage limit, uploads may be blocked until you free space or add storage.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect and how we use it, including the third-party service providers (subprocessors) we rely on to operate the service.

13. Third-party services

The service depends on third-party providers, including cloud hosting, storage, authentication, payment processing, and optional integrations with drone platforms. We are not responsible for the availability of third-party services, and your use of an optional integration may also be subject to that provider's terms.

14. Availability and support

We work to keep UAV Data available and reliable, but the service is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment. We may perform maintenance, and features may change as the product evolves. Support is available through the contact address below.

15. Our intellectual property

UAV Data, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by UAV Data LLC and its licensors. These Terms give you a limited right to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership in it.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for us or others. Where practical, we will notify you and give you a chance to resolve the issue first. On termination, Customer Content is handled as described in our Data Retention Policy.

17. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, UAV Data LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will never be lost; you are responsible for maintaining your own copies of critical data.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UAV Data LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

19. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify UAV Data LLC against claims arising from your Customer Content, your use of the service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law, including drone and aviation regulations.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you — for example by email or an in-app notice — before it takes effect, and we may ask you to accept the updated Terms to continue using the service. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

21. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
