Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026
This policy describes what information UAV Data, operated by UAV Data LLC ("we", "us"), collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. UAV Data is offered to customers in the United States only.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up we collect your name and email address. Sign-in is handled by Auth0, our authentication provider; we do not store your password.
Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are collected and stored by Stripe and never touch our servers; we keep records of your subscription, invoices, and payment status.
Customer content. The imagery, video, and flight data you upload is stored with our cloud storage provider, Cloudflare, in its R2 storage service. Content you upload may include location data — for example geotagged imagery and flight telemetry — which we process to provide mapping and analysis features.
Usage information. We collect application logs and usage information — such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken — to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service. Account activity is also recorded in your account's audit log, which account administrators can review.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to provide and operate the service, process payments, send transactional emails (such as invitations, receipts, and account notices), respond to support requests, protect the service against abuse, and understand how the product is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your customer content for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers (subprocessors) we rely on to run UAV Data — authentication, hosting, storage, payments, email, and optional drone platform integrations. The current list is published on our subprocessor page. We may also disclose information where required by law.
4. Content you share with others
UAV Data is built for sharing: you can grant other users access to your clients, projects, missions, and files. What you share, and with whom, is under your control. Content shared with another account is visible to that account per the access you granted.
5. How long we keep information
We keep your account information and customer content while your account is active. Retention after cancellation, lapse, or a deletion request is described in our Data Retention Policy. Audit log retention depends on your subscription tier.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS, and stored content and databases are encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage strong, unique credentials on your account.
7. Cookies
We use cookies needed to sign you in and keep the application working. You can review your choices in the cookie settings, available from the account menu.
8. Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account information in the application, export your content, and cancel your subscription at any time. You may also request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting support; we will respond consistent with applicable law.
9. Children
UAV Data is a business service and is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 to use it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you — for example by email or an in-app notice — before the change takes effect.
11. Contact
